Synopsis
Sarah Peroni is a beautiful young wealthy war widow going home to grieve with her parents when the train she is on makes an unscheduled stop at a farm where a poor farm boy Roy Dalton has stopped his fence mending chores to watch the train. Their eyes meet and something strange happens as they seemingly exchange souls in a brief encounter. As the years go by, when Roy becomes a successful country singer while Sarah achieves fame as a world-renowned artist, they both find something missing in their lives. Despite efforts to find their soulmate, circumstances keep the two from meeting. They find and reject love from others not realizing that the love they seek was that person they met briefly somewhere in time several years earlier. A Soul Encounter in a brief exchange somewhere in time is the story of their struggle to find each other again.
My Review
This was such a wonderful story. I just knew from the start that I was going to love it. The storyline was so satisfying to read. So wonderful with special connections that was so fantastic to experience. I was totally engrossed in this story and finished it in one sitting it was that good. This book just made me feel so happy as it was full of wonderful atmosphere. It was heartwarming reading how two complete strangers could change each others life so much from just a brief encounter. It was fantastic reading how life could be changed so much from a few small gifts. How each could become so successful in their own right. This book would certainly make an amazing film. The characters were wonderful with great development and they felt so realistic. I highly recommend reading this book. I am certain like me you will be frantically turning the pages so you find out what will happen next. I just loved the ending.
Only the highest of praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating such a wonderful story that brought out so many emotions while reading. It really touched me and will stay with me for so time to come. I can't wait to read more from this very talented author.
