My Review
This was a great read. I loved the setting of this book. It was an island between Finland and Sweden. It held some wonderful culture and held a very interesting story line following 3 different women who came to the island in very different ways. The Story was both intriguing and shocking at times especially the story of the women brought over by human traffickers. I hadn't realised before reading this book that it was book 4 in the series. This did put me at a disadvantage of not reading the other books. This was an excellent 4 star read and I believe that if I had read the other books it would of been a 5 star book as I felt I was on the back foot and missed out on some of the back story.
This book with its mixture of Russian mafia and romance made foe a thrilling roller coaster ride. I actually finished the book in one day.the author did a fantastic job at dealing with some difficult issues and created so wonderful well developed characters that you found yourself rooting for. The book flowed well at a great medium pace. The chapters were short and moved between the different women building up to a great ending. I loved how each of the women's story's were very different and unique. Yet they all became connected. I definitely recommend reading this series.
Many thanks to the author and publishing team for creating a very interesting story that I struggled to put down.
